Held up much better than I expected on a rewatch.

One of those films the whole hall was invested in.

Went in cold and came out completely won over.

The lead performance is doing an enormous amount of work here.

Sharp writing, and it trusts the audience to keep up.

The second half is where this really finds its feet.
