This is the kind of film that reminds you why theatres still matter. The pre-interval block alone is worth the ticket price. Sound design during the action sequences was mixed at a volume that actually rattled the seats. Story-wise there's nothing groundbreaking here, it's a fairly standard revenge template. But execution elevates it — every set piece feels earned rather than inserted for spectacle. The antagonist is genuinely menacing without needing exaggerated dialogue to prove it. Second half drags in patches, mostly during the flashback explaining the hero's backstory. Overall a solid watch, especially on a big screen with a loud sound system.
