Jayasudha

Sujatha Nidudavolu (born December 1, 1958), known professionally as Jayasudha, is an Indian actress and politician who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She began her film career as a child actor in Pandanti Kapuram (1972) before transitioning to leading roles with Arangetram (1973), Nomu (1974), and the romantic drama Apoorva Raagangal (1975). Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, she established herself in mainstream commercial cinema, starring in features such as Soggadu (1975), the action film Adavi Ramudu (1977), Idi Katha Kaadu (1979), and the musical romantic drama Premabhishekam (1981). For her leading performances, she received seven Filmfare Awards South and eight Nandi Awards, including wins for Jyothi (1976), Aame Katha (1977), and Meghasandesam (1982).
